That sounds like a Field Marshall. The "official" way of starting was with a cartridge (big bang) but could also be started with a cigarette. Always a bumpy ride with that single cylinder diesel. Dave

I'm sorry but I don't agree. The air conditioning on my car does run in eco mode, and as a matter of interest the heating works well in eco mode as well despite what many have said. Dave

Well in my opinion the Mk 1 is a fine car, just make sure that all the software is up to date and go for it. I don't think an App is essential, I've been driving for 56 years and never had, or wanted, an app! Dave
