Hi. Not a massive issue but just annoying as I can’t pinpoint it. When driving I get a squeak from the rear of the inside? More notably when going around corners or bumps. It’s not the suspension. I can’t pinpoint if it’s the door, the rear seats, the boot shelf or the rear headrests.

Anyone experienced the same?

I've found my ZS to be the most difficult vehicle I've had to locate squeaks. Must be something with the acoustics... whatever. The squeaks sound like they are coming from somewhere they aren't. My culprits have been things rattling in the centre flip-top box, and the sunglasses case.
Good luck.

Try dropping the back seats and remove the parcel shelf, then test drive.
That will narrow it down a bit !.

I have been searching for it for days and now given up 🤣.
Maybe we don’t get that option in the U.K. due to the fact that it is always raining !.
I have now diverted my search 🔍 and looking for an umbrella ☔️ instead.
Not found THAT either !.

Ik know what it is....it is the rear Seat attachment ...put a littlebit vaseline on it

Will it go in easier?

Have got the same issue, have found if I leave the rear door not quite fully shut the squeak goes (so think the door is the cause), adjusting the door catch May fix it but haven’t tried yet. Have lubricated all the rubbers, catches, hinges and touch points to the body of the car, but still have the noise…

The sunroof can also cause a lot of rattle issues. Open the roof and/or blind and see if the rattles go away. Lubricate with silicon grease if roof is identified as cause.

Thanks for the tip Tony, but don’t have a sunroof on my car….

I have recently purchased a mg zs ev. And i am having the same squeaking problem which i hear when the car goes on small bumps. And i cant point the source of the noise too and its driving me crazy!

it is a known thing, our gen 1 had it and so did the gen 2.
it is the plastic finish on the windshield wipers that rests on the windshield, on the gen 1 I sprayed WD40 on it and it was gone immediately, on our gen 2 I want to put a rubber underneath.

I had an annoying creak at slow speeds over bumpy roads in particular. The noise came from the rear which I tried to eliminate by completely emptying the boot to check whether anything might be loose and moving around. In the end couldn’t find anything to account for it so took it to the dealer who soon showed me that the boot was not closing tight enough and there’s a simple adjustments by hand screwing in or out the two rubber ‘toggles?’ which grip the lid. Boot now closes tight and noise completely gone.
