Has anyone here had a 48 month service on a Gen 1 ZS EV yet, and how much did you pay? I have just been ringing round for a service quote and am astonished at the price range. The service is just an inspection/software update along with coolant change in both coolant systems.
These are all MG dealers: Eric Stead Sheffield quoted £299. Bristol Motors Chesterfield quoted £235. Cars2 Barnsley quoted £134.

Had the 48 month service done today. It took them 20 minutes including brake fluid and coolant change. It should have had 2 software updates but the Chinese servers were too slow so it's going back in a couple of weeks for them. The service manager said he couldn't justify the quote when it was so quick and knocked the price down to £180 - he said most of the service cost is paying for the 'free' 7-year warranty which they don't agree with as only the battery and corrosion are covered after three years anyway.

The time will come very soon when the public will realise that they is no such thing as a free (MG) lunch.

I'd suggest they didn't actually do a 48 month service.

How so? The service is just an inspection, brake fluid change, coolant change, and pollen filter change. It took them 20 minutes which they said was pretty standard for the amount of work involved.

So about your middle quote for me last month.

Pollen / cabin filter ✔️.
Brake fluid replacement 50/50 - Some do, some don’t ( checking with a meter would determine if this is actuality required ?.
Coolant change ??????.
What coolant ?????.
Not the HV battery coolant surely 🤔.
Maybe check / top up if required sounds more likely.

Battery pack coolant and motor coolant are both changed at 48 months on 1st gen and 60 months on 2nd gen. Brake fluid is every 24 months on both.
