Hi All

Had a slight scrape in a car park today (somebody carelessly reversing into me, even though I was stationary!!) Damage is pretty modest tbf so weighing up best thing to do. Anyone recommend any touch up paint type stuff that would cover the scrapes? Not that bothered from an aesthetic point of view, but don't want further corrosion to the paint / body work.

Any thoughts? Could get bumper repair co on it but that might be overkill?

I've used Chipex in the past with pretty good results
Cheers - do you think it would do an OK job on the scratches in the above pics? Like I say not overly fussed about the cosmetics but be good to know it's tidied up...

I think that those scratches are into plastic so I don't think that there is much to worry about for corrosion but I'd second the vote for chipex. They will get you a very good colour match for the paint.

I should think so as long as Chipex can match the colour . It's a three stage fix , paint, blend and polish

Yeah it's definitely the top plastic coat (and not very deep) there was more of his car paint on there than loss of mine...

Thanks yes, they say they have the colour match and it's 'guaranteed' apparently. Think I might do that as mobile scratch repair companies seem to be £200ish which seems unnecessary.

I got quoted £1400 by Chips away for an inch long scratch on my bonnet on my last car  . Needless to say I did it myself with Chipex ;)
