Nobody is going to crush the back of that dog chariot so easily.
And definitely not with the caravan that was also usually attached to it 👍🤣

Funny really, just saying that conjured up in my mind all the great holidays I had with my wife, kids and 'little' rescued friend. 🥰

Many years ago, a couple of chavs tried that on. It was a narrow street with cars parked each side. Instead of pulling in to let me pass, he decided to continue trying to move forward, rubbing the paintwork. Next thing I know, a few months later I had a solicitor's letter for a claim for whiplash. :)

The insurance assessor came and looked at my paintwork, (which fortunately I hadn't polished out with T-Cut), telling me that the other car looked as though someone had kicked in the panel. When I said I could attend court, funnily enough, the claim was withdrawn.

Never crashed my car but I was in a bus crash once. As a teenager I used to go to school on a 3-4 mile trip on one of these:

One day, we had just turned into a long road near the school. At the bottom of this road the bus would be doing 40mph.

As the bus turned into the road, the driver slumped over the wheel having a heart attack. The bus continued turning, careered across the road (missing oncoming traffic) and crashed into a lamppost.

The impact was only at 10mph and nobody was injured, although we were shaken about across the bus. Unfortunately the driver didn't survive, even though the ambulance came quickly.

They put us all on the next bus and we carried on to school and had a normal day. But it could have been very different if we'd been doing 40 a minute or two later.

In those days they didn't even tell our parents, let alone let us go home or give us any therapy. We just got on with it and I think that worked. Nobody was traumatised.

I've never crashed a car, but got hit head on whilst riding a motorbike! I was working in the motor trade at the time, and had been out to a jack-knifed truck on the A2 near Dover. On the way back it started to rain, so I dropped by home to pick up my crash helmet, coat and gloves, and then going home from work a car came straight out of a "Y" junction and hit me head on. I came too in the ambulance, but got away without serious injuries, mainly due to the quality helmet. I do still have the scars over 50 years on!
