Does anyone have any tips for preventing the interior of the windows steaming up when driving now that is getting colder? The only thing that has been working for me is cranking the temperature up to something higher (21°+) than I want in the car and increasing the fan speed to at least 4. Even on long drives if I reduce either once cleared, it builds back up again. Pre heating the car before setting off has a limited affect beyond the first few minutes.

Check this thread.

Keep the aircon on all the time, I set the temp to 22C and only get fogging on the front screen which is very quickly removed by a quick blast of front defrost.

Thanks for all the tips. Usually have the air intake set for outside rather that recirc and agree having ac on helps. Will also give putting demisters in the car a go to see if it helps.

Yeah, the ZS is terrible for this.
As everyone says... both demister switched on, turn off recycle, and crank the fans

I've never had a problem with mine. Just hit the demist for 30 seconds to clear the screen and switch it off again, as I've done with every car I've ever owned.

Tom’s Man Shed did a video on this problem “steamy windows in the mg as ev”. I bought the same bags as he advertised and they do work. I also fixed Autoclover wind deflectors which are available from Amazon. This enables the windows to be open slightly without getting a cold breeze or rain in. Though I think you’d need to fix them as soon as possible given the fall in temperature, or be able to store the car under cover over one night (since they use a very strong 3M tape). Other than that, a quick blast as mentioned earlier works for me too as a back up. I’ve tried these small fans which fit into the cigarette lighter but they’re a bit hit and miss and some can only be on for 20 mins at a time anyway. I just remembered another solution. I’d previously seen YouTube vids on wiping the interior windscreen with shaving foam. It requires a bit of energy but when I did do it prior to fitting the wind deflectors etc it seemed to work as well, but temporarily. As an aside, demist cloths never worked for me.

I’ve solved this by disabling auto. I keep the airflow on feet and windscreen, temp usually on 20 and fan on usually 5 or 6 (7 if wet people / coats in the car). Also recirculation on manual/fresh.
