Time flies and the zs is almost 2 years old


May I ask what is the going rate for second service at a dealer?

ZS standard range, under 12k

Not sure if any still does the low mileage service. Did 6k last year.

Can you show me the link? I did troll on mg site but cannot really find where for service plan. Thanks.
 
Only on Friday I was quoted £180 for the low milage 2nd service and £235 for the standard service.
I was told that the difference is IF you opt for replacing the brake fluid or not ?.
The cabin filter is called for replacement at two years regardless.
I seem to remember paying a similar price for the 2nd service on our previous Gen1 ZS EV.
 
After a bit of ringing around. A dealer not too far from me does the low mileage service (second year) for £126. But he did say that I will lose the paint warranty. ?? He didn't say for good or just this time year ( presumably for good). Do I still have the AA? He does not seem to know.. my goodness can MG standardised their service costs and info from their staffs.. 😞
 
Howard's Taunton Somerset vehicle mileage 17800 cabin filter changed but not brake fluid.

When a MG dealer carries out any annual service, your MG Assist ( A.A.) cover should automatically be renewed straight away.
Just ensure they have updated the cover before you leave.
You can double check by calling MG Assist a few days later, just to be 100% sure.

My wife paid £163 for a service plan when she got her ZS EV Trophy LR in March 2022. The first service was £34 and the second service is due by 20th March so I am assuming the second service could be around £129. I got a service plan for my ZS EV Exclusive that I bought in May 2021. That was £7.29 a month for 2 years. The firs service was £30.60 and the second was £86 or something. They said I still had some money in the pot so it would be £15 a month for 22 months and that would be for the 3rd and 4th services also includes the 2 MOT's. That was at Richmonds Portsmouth.

I just got the 2nd service for ZS at £135 (low Mileage) including courtesy car and car wash, also the AA roadside recovery service update

Hi, it was Dicksons of Inverness, yes it was a low mileage service (below 12k miles) where they only test the brake fluid rather than replacing it.

Nice to see that somebody is ant least carrying out best practice, rather than just replacing the fluid, which is can be wasteful / costly and requires careful disposal.
Of course checking the fluid brings in less revenue than a simple fluid sample check.
Well done that dealer 👍.

Mine is booked for 2 year 30k service £190.
