Hi there ...we are having a problem with the heater. We cannot seem to get a good heat from it despite having it on for a good smou t of time. Any known issues with this on thr MG ZS EV

The heater will not generate a large amount of heat if driven in ECO mode (energy saving). So please check you are in Normal mode first, same goes for aircon, in case we ever get nice weather.

Oh that's good to know. Yes we always drive in ECO mode REgen 2. My wife will be happy now.

Thank you.

Get the car warm ( or cool ) to how you like it in normal mode. Then drop down to Eco. Regen or not has no effect on heating. Opening up the sun roof fabric shade cover in winter let's radiated heat in but not out ( ie greenhouse effect) and conversely close it in summer. Keep the doors open for as minimal amount of time as possible to stop heat transfer in or / out from convection.

Thank you for this information.

Good tips
However heat plus fan uses a lot of battery, about 20 miles worth per hour of use so treat it with care!
Thank you for your comment.
