50% is recommended for the traction battery. I just got mine back from the body shop after 2 months nad there was no loss of charge at 64%.

Surprisingly yes. Although the app said the bonnet was open, so they may have attached a battery conditioner while waiting for parts on back order.

I left my ZS LR stationay for 4 weeks. There was no issue. Main battery was about 70% full.

Google it, but conventional wisdom for ANY EV says:
not fully charged nor super low, ie, between 50-80%

I’m contemplating the 4.8W AA solar charger to keep the 12V topped up whilst parked up - hopefully will help the dash cam parked mode too.

Left ours (MG5SR Pre facelift) for 7 weeks over Christmas 2022 at 80%. All fine on return.

I'm not convinced 4.8W is anywhere near enough. I have a 20W solar PV I leave in the window facing south when I leave it for extended periods (like 3 months at a time) and that only just keeps the battery at 12 V. No camera on that. When I have the camera in, I use 2 x 20W panels.

I left my car at heathrow for 3 weeks at 64%. Was 63% when I got back. I got this emergency 12V jump start pack just in case the 12V ever gets flattened. Small and light enough to fit in glove box: 12V 20000MAH Car Emergency Battery Jump Starter Start Booster W/LED Power Pack | eBay

I also bought an expensive battery booster after reading so many cases of 12V battery probs when the car was left for a time, not just MG either.

We are going to Thailand for 5 weeks next month. Car will be left at home will it be wise for me to leave it plugged into the cable then but set my capacity to 70% ?
