I've just this Autocar article on the new 'hot' Cupra Born, a car that is considered a close rival to the MG4. It has a rather cute "Golf R baiting 322bhp" and a 0-60 time of 5.7 seconds.

Prices are yet to be confirmed, but will undoubtedly be significantly higher than the current £43,735 range-topper.

I don't think I'll be cancelling my X Power just yet, even with a claimed 335 mile range for the new Cupra.

322bhp and 0-60 in 5.7 is not a competitor to either the Golf R nor the XPower.

It is just a warmer Born for even more money.

Sounds like VW want a few joint ventures with Chinese companies to reduce costs, and I think they need to based on the price of that new Cupra Born !! :-

Apparently that's crap, too. 🙄
2020 ID.3 as laggy as MG4 (which I'd assumed was going to be much worse).

Oh and the ID.3 didn't have the noise. The electrons whizzing, dual motors spinning, heartrate increasing  noise.

More than happy without anything gimmicky drowning it out, I think it's just right as it is. First encounter with a pushy Merc today, didn't last long
