Can anybody throw any light on the whereabouts of the fuse box that used to be located in the right-hand end of the dashboard by the door pillar it was definitely there on the GPS and I think on the earlier HS is but on the PHEV I cannot find it for love nor money. I want to put a piggyback fuse in to run a line from my DVR camera and I can’t find the fuse box. Surely it’s Gotta be somewhere relatively easy to get to any help gratefully received

That’s what I am being told. Have taken the end panel out, removed two screws but have not even managed to get sight of it let alone find it. However a fuse box should always be accessible. Has anyone got a definite.

In case anyone is curious, I have now gained access to the fuse box.

Process is

1) remove end Cover from dashboard. I have found this to be easier by pulling door rubber off.
2)remove two screws as shown by arrows.
3) pull off dash front by releasing using plastic trim tools.
4) pull dash out just enough to get access needed.

I have to say this is a ridiculous way of getting to a fuse board. In the GS it was accessible by stage 1 alone.

Why on earth have they made this so difficult?? Utter madness, I was going to do my dashcam this weekend and purchased a lead that works from the OBDC port which I believe is in the same place, really having second thoughts about it now.

Maybe the port is more accessible by pulling down the underneath cover. I was not looking for that so cannot tell you I am afraid.

Hi, thanks for all this info. Is the fuse box in exactly the same place for a Left Hand Drive version here in Europe? (MG EHS). Or is it the opposite side of the car, again by the steering column? Thanks for any help (never installed a dashcam before on any kind of car...)
