Not an MG
Im at the point of moving things up a notch, the vibration is well known and its totally unacceptable for a new car, hours of droning vibrations on the highway. Even my first car was better on retreads. So, getting off the lounge chair and from behind the screen, its time to turn it up.

For Brisbane and GoldCoast buyers, id love to have a meet up and look at way of having MG take notice. Few options that I've thought of are, turning up in all of our cars at each MG dealer and clogging the car park and the dealership. Asking to see each of the GMs , or look at turning up MGs main offices, throw it on social media, make a noise. Its not a protest, its concerned pissed off buyers looking for an answer.

Since the fake fix with the steering dampener , MG have done nothing. Dealers treat us like shit, with rubbish slow unhelpful Ai generated retorts.

I suspect we dont have many Au customers on here ?

You could try writing to some car journals / watchdogs or whatever bodies you have in Australia for consumer rights.

Also an X (Twitter) / Facebook bombardment from owners perhaps ?

All from your armchair 😊

(Sorry for my english which is not very good)

I live in France, I bought my xpower in November 2023 without the steering wheel .
Unfortunately, I have the famous vibration. I created a petition with the international site www.change.org.
In one week I only managed to have 40 signatures, maybe in Australia you will have more people !

My petition (in France only) Xpower vibration:
Signez la pétition

Good luck to everyone struggling to get an MG fix

In my opinion, we should visit the MG Holding in UK. UK head office designs MG4s

Maybe get yourself into the audience for the next series of Australian Top Gear, wearing a T-Shirt with your thoughts on MG

I havent noticed it.. at what speeds are you feeling it?

I take it you're pretty new here but as you're from Austalia I'm surprised you are not aware of the issue :-

Just Google "mg australia delay xpower" and read the reason why they delayed them.

It occurs at a steady cruise at 67-73mph on motorways (so 108 - 117 Kph)

Quote from carsguide :-

"MG has halted deliveries of its MG4 XPower as the brand races to address a steering issue with the sporty electric hatch.

The issue has to do with the MG4 XPower's current steering damper which, according to the brand, needs to be changed following customer feedback regarding the feel of the car at higher speeds."

Also a poll on here revealed 80% of owners experienced it. It was 100% for a long time too (again a few dealers in the house maybe 😉😉)

Two jubilee clips today on the left drive shaft, i drove 100km of smooth highway, at 100kmh, smooth sailing. even 105kmh, 110kmh it comes in. Its interesting , if your a bit out on the adjustment, the vibration will come and go as it goes in phase with the imbalance either on the other shaft or the motor. Passenger side seems be where i get the best result. When i get that the best i can ill work on the right`side. Will take me a few weeks, but is all i got. If it completely fixes it, MG owe me a free xpower :) and a long range for the wife.

Dealers are just as pissed off , stuck in the middle, cant slam the brand to customers or media. However storm is brewing. Id be interested to see if no fix, what the remedy will be. Compensation, option to return, swap for long range etc MG engineers gave about 2 seconds of thought to the dampener. More a calm the storm move, either they know its a front motor swap/drive train issue or dont care.
