I have a 72 plate ZS Trophy Connect LR.

On Monday, it is due to go back to the dealers for the 3rd time to get the recurring "Maintain vehicle soon" warning fixed. It's the usual thing... They reset it, and about 500 miles later, it reappears.

Any advise on what I have to say to them to finally get this fixed properly?

So, it looks like they just pressed the service reset again... So, I think that as we do less than 15k per year, I'll just do the same every 500 miles and get the car serviced annually.

At least they did fix the rear screen washer that was not working... A pipe had become disconnected.

My Sept 2022 mk2 had this until it had first service at 15,000 in Sept 2023. Software updates cured this anomaly.
I don't suppose you remember what software and the versions it was that they updated to?

It's the software of the head unit. It needs to be the version that ends R22 I think. You might have R20/ R18. This takes a few hours for them to do but will fix the issue and the one where the car announces that it's 1st Jan 2019. It is a known issue on the trophy connect so they should know about it if you ask. You can check in the settings on the infotainment screen what version you have.
Without the update, it will contimue to notify you every 700ish miles.
I had this on my one and the update fixed it. Some dealers appear to be reluctant to do the update unless you ask as it's a faff and takes ages.

Not my Image (from a thread from last year), but this is the update version that should fix it, ending R22. Ask the dealer to do the update and it will sort the issue. It will take 3-4 hours, so be prepared to leave it with them for the day

Thank you for the Image. My September 2022 LRTC is due to go in to dealer for a third time end of this month to cure this fault Hopefully showing them a picture and number of the correct update will finally get them to resolve this annoying problem. Thank you again...

September 2022 LRTC finally had software update to cure "arrange service soon" message every 600 miles or so. Updated to R22 but went further and installed R23 and R25 as per image. Not sure if that improves anything else but hopefully cured the original problem.

Very good! That should hopefully cure the problem. Must be a newer version than when I had it done, I wonder what else has changed

Looks like it has improved Radio reliability. Before update to R25 had to press + or - on steering wheel to get the radio to come on after start up. Now it comes on automatically at Start Up as it should do and has done on every other vehicle that i have owned.

I couldn't see where this is displayed in the settings area on the infotainment system. Any chance you could show me the steps to follow to get to this page? Thanks.

From memory...
Scroll right on the home screen and press settings. Then on the right side scroll all the way to the bottom to 'system'. The it should show like the image above

Thank you. Your directions were perfect.
Here's my versions:
Entertainment System version: SW17-29716-1300R22
Telecommunication version: SNAKP10ZSE

Are there updates which might resolve the radio problem?

Did you do the update yourself? If so, how?

Well, 600ish miles later, and guess what...
Yep, "Maintain vehicle soon!"
So, this is the third failed attempt by a main dealer to fix this software issue. We (forum members/car owners) seem to know more about the cars than the factory-trained technicians!
I think I'll take the easy option of a manual reset myself, rather than the faff of driving over to the dealers, taking time off etc. just for them to do what I can do...
