Just downloaded the latest to me free Naviextras SatNav updates, there seemed to be a reasonable sized file to download, and it took a while to install in the car(PFL MG5), just thought I'd let it be known.

Couldn't see anything there today . I did get one about a month ago . it was about 38Mb and didn't take long at all
 
Just attempted to do the upgrade. Fingerprint process appears to work but the download is over quite quick, admittedly on a 300Mb connection. Plug into the car and it returns invalid files.

Tried it with 2 different memory sticks and formatted as Fat and exFat, all with the same result. Any suggestions as to what to try next.
 
What size were the USB keys ? Maybe download the file again .You could get in touch with NaviExtras but I wouldn't hold my breath for a solution
 
Both 16MB, one was USB3 the other USB2.

Although the NaviExtras reports the files transferred OK there is only 46MB used?

Tried it again using my Mac, much the same result. The transfer to the key is reported as succesful but very little storage space is used. Then in the car the update is invalid.

The Nav info screen show a version 9.12.2.225929 with a date of June 2020, the map list shows the UK map is 2019.Q4
