It’s kind of exciting to find that the car sometimes locks itself after unlocking even if the key is not always in my possession. This morning unlocked the car and left the key dangling on fob in house back door before locking up and clunk - there it goes again. Locked! Once it locked because I looked at it with a challenging expression. Wife often accuses me of deliberately locking it as she approaches the passenger door but life’s too short for those kind of shenanigans. I assume the car gets a simple pleasure of feeling a small amount of control.

The other thing much discussed on these forums and YouTube is the Android Auto satnav lack of audio. Still never achieved it despite the test voice being loud and clear. My phone cable connects to the right hand port to give me the visuals, nothing happens in the port showing the phone icon so don’t know if that’s an issue? Anyway I think I prefer a satnav in my eyeline so will probably invest in a phone holder. Just wondered why I couldn’t solve it. Maddening.

Not in my experience. I can leave the car unlocked for hours - did it today, came home this morning with some bags of compost and left car unlocked all day until got round to unloading in the afternoon.

If you unlock the car and don't open a door within 30 sec it locks it's self. If you stop, switch off and leave the vehicle it won't lock it's self.
