MG ZS EV
Hello,
Does anyone know of any company that sell second hand or new parts for an MG ZS EV 2020 after some idiot crashed into my car we are trying to see how much parts are before deciding if to go via insurance.

The parts needed include:
Driver side headlight
Frisbee side panel above front wheel
Front panel between bonnet and grill
Front driver and passenger side wheel arch trim

I take it you didn't get his insurance details as that seems a lot of damage not to go through your insurance
 
I’m thinking of just going through insurance now as he is already getting quite unresponsive to texts as well as then there is protection and courtesy car during repairs.
Am I’m right in thinking as I am not at fault I wouldn’t have to pay excess or lose no claims

Yes, that's correct. (Send all the photos and videos you have to the insurer as that will stop any counter claim by the third party)
 
Finding spares for an MG ZS EV seems to be like looking for hens teeth. I had an accident in mine and it has, so far, been six weeks and they still cannot get all the parts. An engineer from the firm doing the work said that MG was the worst for supplying parts of all the manufacturers they work with. And this is a large country wide repair business used by insurers.

I’ve gone through insurance as the other party will have to pay. They was supposed to collect last Thursday but got a call late Wednesday saying they have been able to get hold of all the parts expect the headlamp and they have been told they have to wait for one to be shipped from abroad with no lead time. But the company who are doing mine says that MG are normally the best when ordering parts as there is a UK stock.
So it’s now a waiting game.
 
Seems like that once again MG are the most hit and miss of all the manufacturers... They seem to have the biggest divide I have ever experienced with so many "polar" reviews of the company... they need to get their **** together otherwise they are not going to retain customers.

Yeah it is really cheeky and can actually affect your premiums... In my opinion, they should only need to know if you intend on going through the insurance for the repairs... Obviously I cannot suggest circumventing your insurance Ts & Cs... buuuuuttttt it's not like we need to give them any more reasons to shaft us for premiums...
