We plan to travel with our caravan for the next 3 months. Can some advise me if it is ok to have the MGEV plugged into home socket for the period of time that we will be away. Will there any damage to the battery over a long period.
Cheers,
Ron

Both extremes are bad for the battery if left for more than 2 weeks. The problem is how much of the battery will discharge over 3 months. I don't think we know.

Best for longevity is between 40% to 60%, So need to charge a little if discharging below 40%.

Could use a WiFi socket connected to granny, but remotely monitoring of SoC will be tricky over such a long period.

Whilst my kona was in the body shop last year for 6 weeks waiting for parts to come from Korea, it sat a 75% for those weeks with no drop off, which is more than could be said for the 12 volt battery which went flat when they took the tailgate off the car and left the sensor on. So as long as it's not at 100% or below 10% it will be fine.
