Given a choice between alloy wheels with covers or heat pump, I know which one I would choose
are we so vain as a nation?
or is it a spotty teenager in the UK headquarters are making these decisions
That's what the UK based headquarters who have finalized the specs will tell you.
If you live anywhere from the midlands up, a heat pump make complete sense.
Seem like all these new cars are better specced in Europe than the UK. MG4, Niro EV, Mégane eTech just to name a few.
Who is to blame?
The idiot in respective UK headquarters who decides what the UK population wants/needs?
Brexit
Or the manufacturers thinks we are 3rd grade citizens?
For me the choice is between MG4, Niro EV and Mégane eTech.
Yet to drive the Mégane, but currently (for me Niro EV leading with Mégane a close second)
In the end would probably go with whatever cost us cheapest (significant margin) over 7-10 ownership
This is waht I was told. Niro EV, Megane eTech (the 2 on my shortlist) both applies regenerative breaking first unless the brake a depressed hard as in an emergency and then goes straight onto applying the pads to brake.
so this issue remains unclear I think
Interesting, but don't believe everything you read on the internet.
Also n=1
Counter Evidence - this community, plenty of good feedback on the EV4 (minus the current shenanigans which could be just first batch issue ... I hope)
Also can anyone confirm if this is correct:
The salesman told me that the MG4 doesn't have any regenerative braking when using the brakes ie has traditional brakes, not blended brakes
Tough decision. For me too now MG4 no longer top of list.
This would be a rare purchase for us - we intend to keep this car for 10 years.
Really like the design, drive and tech (of the trophy), but feel cannot risk it at present. The dealership network locally also untested. If it's anything...
