Thats a flawed logic because you can argue "guaranteed zero leakage" by not putting any oil in it at all.:unsure:

I mean info from manufacture/some dealers saying its fixed towards Oct 2022. It could be true to some but mine is one of those confirmed fault, "fixed" with new breather pipe but then leaked again.

My inbox has been overfilled with rubbish information.

I found the oil leak from my car within 48 hours from new. Took 3 weeks to have breather pipe replaced, oil refilled. Now within the week I am having it back, new oil patches found on my driveway.

I phoned Westfalia who advised the towbar for MG4 expected to be on sale from end of Febuary. I have a horsebox to transport my motorbike, now it seems like I can only use some very light trailer and even then not sure if 50kg of nose weight is sufficient.

MG needs to face the fact that this is either: a) flawed design, b) defect of parts/product, c) incompetence workmanship, or; a combination of above. They can either fix the issue at no cost to customer or end up in court. I understand people are competent and willing to modify to rectify...

Guys, feel free to complaint but aim at any individual wont help to reach a satisfactory resolution. The attitude from manufacture is concerning. Either dont buy it again or through legal route. On the brighter side, I now had my car back from dealer, oil leak has been fixed, beather pipe...

Character of the year. I don't want it to be personal but this attitude, considering his position which representing MG is worrying. Issues can be resolved, brand image is very hard to rebuild.

Has anybody got this fixed by dealer covered under wrarranty yet? If so, how long does it take from dropping off till a full satisfactory resolution? If not, anyone been asked to paid by himself/herself to have this fixed? I collected my MG4 trophy right before Christmas and reported issues...

Sounds a bit brand snobbering. Dont think reputation from ICE car brands applies to the EV(e.g I feel ID3 is crap). There isnt any particular EV brand is significant better than the rest.

When shall we expect the next software update to fix the driver alert? Anyone knows?

Thanks for sharing your experience. It was indeed driver drowsiness alert stayed on and dealer wasnt able to clear while checking all sensors are functioning correctly as they should(according to dealer anyway). Dealer refuse to release the vehicle to me and kept me waiting for a patch from MG...
