Can there ever be enough DC chargers?

So, to answer the previous, I do charge at home to reduce costs, this was a holiday away from said home charging. To answer the RFID card thing is that I quite often go to North Norfolk where there are Gridserve chargers at the Norwich charging hub, these are great, but why oh why do I have to...

Can there ever be enough DC chargers?

Thanks, I have looked at the list and see BP is bottom, where I believe it belongs, what gripes me most is it was raining (normal for UK ATM), I tried the card reader (Contactless) which said had failed, so I tried to load £20 onto the app which was in a dead spot for internet but succeeded...

Can there ever be enough DC chargers?

I use Zap Map all the time, but they do not really help when it comes to how people have got on with the chargers unless you into the depths of the particular charger, perhaps I am wanting a generic view of each provider. BP Pulse is appalling though, I have never got it working as it tells me...

    Wireless phone charger

Hi, I have the same issue. I removed the plastic tray and also put a sticky mat in its place. I have a Galaxy 10 in a folding case and this works for me, it continues to charge over all the journey however long.

Can there ever be enough DC chargers?

Is it possible to have a list of charger providers and anyone that uses said charger provider can state where, what car, and success or not, maybe even CCS or Type 2, can anyone do that as a ongoing report of how the charging network is going and where/who is great and not so great. I have had...

Can there ever be enough DC chargers?

I'm using this thread to sort of raise awareness of dead areas within the UK that seem to have chargers but when you get there you are running around trying to get a charger to work (AC or DC), my experience is with Bude, they have chargers on Zap Map but most are either not working or difficult...

    Lane keeping assist

If you mean steer from the road side to the centre line of the road whilst a car was coming the opposite way, yes, that was what happened.

    Lane keeping assist

LKA is sh!te, today I nearly got steered into an on coming vehicle, it is only time before someone has an accident. I have a fully UpToDate car as it has been in for AC charging issues. How can this be an NCAP safety feature when it is constantly trying to make you have an accident?

    MG4 Software Update Thread

I don't even think the deals know the updates MG throw out

    Weird Service

You'll only get the latter stuff if you complaint/point out that there are problems with the infotainment system, otherwise they will assume you are happy with the system as it is. If you report issues then the updates can be done under warranty and you get your R46, .... I think

    MG4 Software Update Thread

So after my 2 months in the garage awaiting for a CCU I got it back with R46 (on the Trophy) and it seems a lot better. Shame that all the first time up-takers are treated as crash test dummies on their software when it had already been release in China so time previous. The initial install...

    Forced change of Dealer.

There are dealers in Bristol and Taunton (not sure if they will still be doing MG as they are Howards as well), if that is any good, whole thing is a bit of omnishambles, well done MG for foot shooting episode!

    Forced change of Dealer.

It seems so, I got an email today stating they were not doing the MG Franchise from 1st May, you may get an email soon :(

    Forced change of Dealer.

And so I have a question, Howards MG at Weston-Super-Mare has stated that they no longer supports the franchise for MG, so is this a single occurrence or is there an underlying issue with garages stopping the Franchise or is it MG terminating it. I cannot believe that this is normal, or is it...

Howards Weston - MG Dealer Discussion, Opinions & Experiences

Hi Have just received an email stating that from 1st May 24 this garage will not be representing MG as a franchise. Me personally am disappointed as I have the usual DC charging issue then the AC charging issue and the garage was always there to help. I can understand this as the MG brand is...

Issue with AC charging/New CCU fitted (Phase One SE LR)

    1. Maybe 2. More than likely - Up to 2 months depending on availability of spares 3. Insist on it (but don't be too hopeful on a replacement EV). Yes under warranty 4. Check a DC charger to see if it charges (Probably will) and repeat above stated in #1, you may have to wait to get the car into...

Issue with AC charging/New CCU fitted (Phase One SE LR)

Normally the DC charging issue is a software patch, so here hoping. On my AC charging side it is good news as it seems to be doing just fine and charging like a goodun'

Issue with AC charging/New CCU fitted (Phase One SE LR)

Charged to 100% overnight, quite a lot of low charge after the 7kW boost, so I'm guessing that that was the balancing bit, all went well and I assume now that the CCU change and all the updates have now given me a battery EV car that I paid for, maybe!

Issue with AC charging/New CCU fitted (Phase One SE LR)

Oh, ATM I am looking at balancing and I use a zappi so the charge is regulated by that, I will have a go another time on that little number
