Arrived home a few days ago on exactly 1000 miles according to the odometer. Being a numbers guy this is about as exciting as my world gets. But what peaked my interest is the miles figure in the top right of 992.1. Wonder what happened to the other 7.9. 🤷♂️

I have the same. Tried to send a destination, can see the envelope with the red dot and travel plans in the User menu says (1) but when I click in it it's empty and now way to get rid of the envelope
I've used the chargers at Booths in Fulwood a couple of times. Worked fine and there is a nice Booths cafe next to the shop.
The 350kw Ionity chargers on Spitfire Close in Stafford just off M6 J14 are great for a fast top up. There's a good Premier inn next door if you are breaking up the journey.
...as an alternative press the left thumb switch downwards to toggle down by 5mph per go. Easy to knock 10 or 15 miles off the ACC speed and then toggle it back up when you get past the island
There are two types. I have a trophy so got the "upper strata" one and it fits on the raised boot floor. I assume the "lower strata" one is for below the raised boot floor.
It came rolled up but flattened down in a day with a bag of sand on it, weather was quite hot though which probably helped.
I bought one a month ago, 1k miles in and living the electric dream.
Depending on how you plan to buy with cash/finance New Car Discount might be worth a look, saved me £3k and comes with mats and type 2 cable that are optional extras at dealers...
I broke my poppers - you need to pull out the middle bit of the popper first is my tip!
However, I just reused the screws that are already in the car as they were longer that those supplied with the mudguards.
Just moved from Admiral who wanted £750 to MoreThan at £550. Could have got it a bit cheaper but by the time I added legal cover etc MoreThan was the best value for me. I've only got 3 years NCD so hopefully it will drop in a couple of years 🤞
I want to convert you to being an ACC lover. I use it probably 80 to 90% of my driving, hence my pain when it stopped working half way up the M6 last week!
I'm back from the lands of the north and have an extra 600 miles on the clock from the last week.
My first experience of necessary public charging was totally seamless. Great Ionity chargers in north Stafford and some Instavolt ones in Preston. Didn't have to queue once and hardly enough time...
