FYI one pedal driving resets to off every time the car is power cycled. Just like LKA gets turned back on, one pedal gets turned off. So it’s about as much of a pain in the butt as it is a nice feature. This is a good car but the infotainment system lets it down. Well, that and the undertray bulge.

Yes, I am inclined to agree. But that presumes the ability to find a dealer that agrees it needs to be sorted and takes action. If not, not sure which is the lesser evil - doing nothing or sorting it myself.

I’m with the author of this thread. Would much rather have an LFP battery but I need the 360 camera etc. If I could I’d pay the trophy price for the trophy spec less the battery and take the 51 from the sr. Too bad that’s not an option.

I would be more likely to purchase if the settings were driver adjustable and retained even if that meant 4 stars. It would admittedly negatively impact resale value but I’d be ok with that.

I understand the NCAP rules and reluctantly accept the LKA and other safety defaults. It’s too bad MG seems to have also applied this to other non-mandated settings.

That is most unfortunate. Profiles would be a wonderful thing but in absence of that the ability (or willingness) to retain settings would be acceptable. In its most basic form a car is about transportation. Beyond that it is a massive expression of the owner - image, what it says about you...

It’s a shame the cameras already on the trophy can’t be dual purposed into security : dash cams. That seems a bit of a miss to have to put in a redundant camera system.
