The front passenger door on my 21 reg ZS Excite has just stopped working.
It’s was fine till I got it back from the dealer coding a new spare key, but I assume that’s just coincidence?
Is it something that’s covered by warranty in a car just over 2 years old?
I’ve got a 2021 Excite.
I live in a village in the country with no streetlights. The headlights are fine, looking forward, but when I want to do a 90 degree left at a junction I can’t see if there’s anything in the road before I turn.

When I booked my car in for a service last week the dealer told me they would be updating the screen software due to a recall for an issue with screens freezing.
It’s a 2021 (71 reg) excite with the pop up charging port.
So if it’s left unlocked in ready mode (you’ve just pulled up and got straight out) it can’t be driven away unless the fob is in the car?
I’ve only had my car a week. This morning I rushed for a train and half way to london couldn’t remember pressing the off button or locking the doors.
What happens if you get out of the car, taking the key fob with you, but not turning off or locking the car?
Does it just sit there till it goes...
