It's more the car coming the other way especially Land-rover and Peugeot. The cars continue to get bigger the roads stay the same!

I don't think 11mph is too fast. I imagine the cars that yiu mention didn't have electrically folding mirrors. Toyota, Honda, Mercedes, Vauxhall, Citroen to name just a few of the cars I've owned all do

I live in a place where there are narrow lanes with granite walls. Typically with my other car when yiu are approaching such places you fold in your mirrors to save a £300 bill. Why would MG not give the owner the choice as all other manufacturers to who provide the functionality

Hi, is there any way that MG can be persuaded to issue a software update that allows you to fold the mirrors at any speed. At the moment if yiu fold them below 10 mph they unfold above that speed. If above 10 mph they won't fold. EVERY OTHER CAR that I have driven that has folding mirrors allows...
