Don't know. They will find a way! Technology-wise you can monitor home EV charging away from normal domestic. The difficulty will be monitoring a 3 pin socket to charge the car.
Not found it to be too hard to stop. I drive it differently from my MG3 and ZT though. I use the regen braking a lot but you need to preempt what's happening in front of you. The MG3 has the best brakes of the three!
Good read, thank you. Sounds like it's either on par or better than the feel of the HS Phev. Pity, it's not coming to the UK. I could be pushed into full EV with it. :)
Sorry for responding this late. I had the same as you but ended up needing a completely new battery. Have a look at the older posts for more details. Take it back to the dealer straight away to deal with as it is a safety issue.
I needed a completely new electric motor for mine! Get the dealer to think about that. They should be talking to MG Technical by now if there have been 4 attempts. Also if it's brand new you are entitled to get your money back in full!
Yep, agree. Was reading something on an MG forum and it's common that people are having to wait to get any issues resolved. A result of high sales demand and support catching up! It didn't take Matt too long at Summit to find the issue with support from MG Technical, so that side of things was...
Not yet, the duff unit is going off to MG UK to find out what happened. It's a sealed unit so nothing could be done by the technician.
There were a few times, especially while it was with Richmond Motors at Guildford. There was always a reason they could not look at it. Even suggested that they...
With 340 miles on the clock, we broke down with a failed drive until back in September. Luckily with the petrol engine, we got to safety and a local dealer. But it turns out the local dealer in Surrey was a complete waste of time! Great at selling cars I'm sure, but no or very little technical...
Got one from MG and one from ebay to see how the standard between them is. the MG one was better. :)
Went for a tethered Rolec with 10m lead. Heard good and bad things but was recommended by John Newey at Summit so decided to give it a punt. Because the car is a PHEV was not too concerned about...
The MG EHS is replacing my lovely 2002 Rover 75 tourer which I sold on last week. Sad but had to be done. My passion is my MG ZT400 with a supercharger, so the EHS is my attempt to offset :) My daily at the moment, until the HS is with me is our MG3 which is a cracking little car.
