For me not worth considering compatibility, charging costs me 9p/kWh on Octopus Go off-peak and export brings 12p/kWh with Scottish Power SEG.

With an off peak tariff the battery makes sense. Our 3kwp PV system makes 2600kwh/year of which 1000 was exported, domestic use is 3800kwh/year. In winter there is virtually zero solar power, charging the battery off peak makes 90% of our usage off peak. Off peak with Octopus Go price matches...

The fix is to clear faults through OBD so it must be software.

To power the house during a powercut you need to cut off the grid before connecting V2L, either manually or through an automated circuit breaker. If you don't and the power comes back while V2L is powering the house the random phase off sync will smoke your things.

I have done 14k miles in 10 months with mostly DC rapid charging, SOH is still 100%.

Is the weather, summer gives more range.

If has to be the climate, not much you can do about it. I'd avoid charging during the day and aggressive driving when is hot.

Out of curiosity, how many miles have your tyres lasted? I will need to change my front tyres after 14k miles.

MG5 LR SOH 100% 13181miles / 21213km over 10 months Mostly fast charges to 80-90% with up to 4 charges to 100% a month, dropped below 20% maybe 5 times, lowest was 13%.
