Car bricked by faulty applegreen charger.

Charger at Woodall services failed to charge a couple of times. Guy with a jaguar in next bay also issues, cable locked into car and would not charge. I called the AA he reset the numerous, unknown, error messages and all good. Disconecting 12v battery, ok only for a minute or so, didn't fix.

MG ZS EV Won't charge past sixty percent

Charging to only 80% is much better for long term battery health. Only charge to 100% if you are expecting to drive a long distance. It is also recommended that you do occasionally charge to 100% to equalise all the cells in the battery to the same voltage.

    Wheel covers

Inflation is very hard, especially with the supplied pump, You lose what feels like several psi when trying to unscrew it. I decided to take the trims off to inflate the tyres

Lost Radio on DAB, FM and AM

My radio (DAB) works fine anywhere in the country. No issues at all. I actally changed the aerial for a shorter one so I could get into the garage. Only issue I have is Bluetooth taking over, but I have got used to that! On a related subject, does anyone know if the DAB Radio is DAB+ ready?

    MGZSEV Starter switch

I actually think the build is very good. Doors etc close with a nice clunk and all the gaps between doors and body are perfect.

Don’t you just love the guessometer?

I guess others have said it, "no different to an ICE car predicting your range", it bases it on how you are driving and how you drove recently.

Vehicle to Load (V2L) - Any Information or First Hand Experiences?

I bought a cable on ebay, came with a double European outlet, replaced that with a 16A outlet, adapt to UK outlet, gives the ability, with the correct 16A plug to 16A outlet cable, to extend. Works very well, used it to boil a couple of dozen kettles (3kw) in the middle of a field for an event...

    Battery capacity and poor range

Then there are the losses (I squared) in the cable from your consumer unit to the charger. If the distance is large or the cable sized at the minimum these losses could be significant ...

Travel to East and North Yorkshire from time to time, 200+ miles there. Always stop for a cup of tea/coffee, put car on charge so still plenty of "juice in the tank" when...

Me too. Only issue I had was misting up, and now that's sorted, so all ok. Really love the experience of driving it.
