ZS EV Facelift (SR/LR) - Built-in Navigation Maps Update Process

I tried this the other day. After using WinRar to unpack the file it is actually 60GB so would need at least a 64GB or bigger USB drive

    Wing mirror hit

I sorted it, the plastic that one of the screws goes into has snapped but at least it is back where it should be. May have to get some super glue in there at some point

    Wing mirror hit

Just discovered that someone has hit my wing mirror and the indicator housing has sunk into the housing. Can anyone advise the easiest way to rectify it? Nothing looks cracked or broken. In the image below the left side is supposed to be flush

    £1 per kWh

It’s still £0.50p/kWh maximum through the Bonnet app on Osprey chargers though and less if you buy a refill but I imagine that will change real soon as Bonnet will not be able to sustain these losses.

Error messages on startup see video

The answer is a simple one. If the infotainment system doesn’t load up quick enough, you get these errors. As soon as the screen comes on these features are available again.

Will MG ever add EV routing support to Apple CarPlay?

EV routing was added to Apple Maps 2 years ago and yet I still don't see it integrated on our EV's. Any experts or dealers know whether MG have even thought about this?

    Door Mirror Cameras

The SE does not have this. I was just pointing out that the preview you see on the screen is not a very useful angle for what it is supposed to be showing you really

    Door Mirror Cameras

Hi all So last week I had the pleasure of travelling in a Tesla (Lyft) while on holiday in the US. One thing that I noticed was the camera view when indicating. Besides the obvious video quality difference, I noticed that the camera actually shows you what may be coming up besides you since...

Road Trips and Motorways and Miles…

You will use more range if doing 70mph, drop that to 60/65 and you may see quite a difference. It also depends on whether you were using AirCon a lot as that will use more range than normal.

AEB False Positive resulting in near whiplash! 2022 SE

It happened again!! This time I let KERS slow me on approach as I was still wary from the last time. I know it’s doing its job but damn it can be annoying and potentially dangerous. I’m worried it’s damaging the brakes.

Things are not always what they seem! (EV etiquette)

I’m not sure if this charger is the same as the rapid I use (Osprey) but it has CCS and Chademo that are tethered and an untethered 22kwh on the side. When I charge using the CCS, the bonnet app shows the Chademo as unavailable but does still show the 22kwh AC as available. Would the CCS not...

    Faulty USB-C ports?

In that case I’m not sure. I know that if you try to charge an iPad with an iPhone power brick (5w) the iPad either won’t charge at all or will charge very slowly.
