I all fairness, I can't see how you would test this without being fully prepared to hit something at a reasonable speed. It is an 'emergency' braking system after all. I would have though that if you're actually looking where you're going then basic self preservation would see you braking...

Oh, and @Lobogris - one tip I picked up from here is that the sensitivity setting only affects the alert, not the actual braking intervention. (that's not very clear in the '5 manual)
