I used MTKExtractor and ext2explore to have a nosey around at the .apks but I haven't had the time this week to go much further. Tempted to update the infotainment (as I'm only on 1300R30)

AFAIK this kills your power delivery and regen braking as well as overall efficiency. Probably not a good idea.

The box has bluetooth (which can interfere with 2.4ghz wifi). Have you tried changing the channel of your LAN wifi and enabling any bluetooth coexistence features? Try splitting your wifi out into 2.4 and 5ghz SSIDs and see if they are both affected or just the one that the wall box connects to.

This is most of it, personally the only things I'd miss is the heated seats / wheel, auto wing mirrors and the rear view camera, obviously the extra range is nice but hardly a deal breaker. There's other things like 360 camera, false floor in the boot, electric drivers seat but none of those...

My MG4 aircon has always made the whine changing pitch startup sound, but no regular clicking. Not audible inside the cabin either. To be honest I just assumed that they were all like this.

Performance is apparently improved in later versions, I am also on R30 and have had a few issues but they are sorted by either replugging phone or resetting head unit (hold home down 10 seconds).

Which dealer? I'm kinda hoping they're local to me xD

tbh you can custom fit your own charge pad really easily if that's a worry

I don't have an SE but I would have got one if it had the 360 camera, to be honest it's the only major trophy feature I'd miss.

Will do, I've been following the threads closely so eager to get R40 if it becomes a reality for older builds, which is why I booked in a service for 3 weeks time... hopefully that gives them enough time to get their arses into gear!

Mine has always done this, it only asks for accel to be pressed if CC was engaged while at a standstill. I usually press the acc anyway since it can be a little slow to pick up speed.

Thanks, that's good to know. I have a service booked in a few weeks and I'd like to get R40 but maybe R33 will be good enough.

Any feedback on what R33 fixes over R30? I'm still on R30 and the car drives fine but the satnav freezes sometimes and the android auto loses connection either wired or with a wireless dongle (Ottocast), I'm guessing memory leak or similar as the issue goes away when I reset the head unit.
