MG Zs Ev 2022 EMERGENCY SPARE WHEEL.

Great idea. If you haven't already I suggest putting a similar Note in the Facebook/social media pages here in Brissie.

Headlamps have moisture absorbing bags within them...

Yes, bags are part of production/ shipping to Customers and I'm told by MG stay in headlamps for life of car. I'm happily leaving mine in. 👍🔋☀️

    Has anyone tinted the sunroof?

No, Tinting shop recommended against it an in fact wont do it due to risk of damage to the sunroof, apparently different glass make-up. Mention it in my video here:

    Window tinting pictures request

Not even facelift. As far as I know , no SAIC/MG vehicles have it as it's not part of their glass production process.

    Window tinting pictures request

Yes, one of the only manufacturers in the world without UV protection in cars glass. I mention it in the video on tinting the MG ZS EV on my YouTube Channel.

    ZS EV 2022 Granny Charger

Same for us. We alternate between 10 amp and 15 amp granny charger depending on how much excess solar we have and how fast we need to charge. Don't have a need for anything bigger.

    Rear interior light

Glass roof doesn't impact. A courtesy light on the left and right near the grab handles linked to wiring when you open the door is all we need. 😄

    Rear interior light

Lol, yes we have 2 kids and cant believe know light in the back, even in the refresh model....all the other bells n whistles but not a 0.50 cent light....shame MG!

We'll be interested to hear anyone's thoughts who has actually bought the ZS EV froot. We might do a bulk buy for us down under.

    Accessories

We've also used eBay and AliExpress but most accessories from MG dealer. Here in Australia the genuine stuff is not badly priced compared to other car brands which have huge markups. Having said that the quality is a little less. Really comes down to how quickly you need it and where you can...

    Isofix child car seat

Agree they are a bit tricky to find. Just feel around by pushing the seat cushioning in and once located clip in.

    Front parking sensors or camera.

Well someone keeps telling us full self driving is coming :)

    Front parking sensors or camera.

Not something we have tackled yet, lots of other ZS EV projects going on though - charge port light, V2L, interior lights etc, but agree it's a pain it doesn't have front parking sensors. Having said that it is a reasonably small vehicle so we initially missed them but have learnt to live...

    Window tinting pictures request

Hi All, just to chime in on this one. The good tint shops actually measure/check the glass to see what if any tint is applied from the factory. They can then advise specifically for your car. As others have confirmed the ZS EV (and all MG's I'm told) don't have any tint on the glass except for...

    Type 2 charger cable.

    That was the plan. 👍

    Type 2 charger cable.

Hi Scotty, we purchased a 22kW cable, being aware MG can only accept 7kW, as it was only A$10 more and future proofing for next car. Purch here locally in Aust - Type 2 EV Cable | 2 Year Warranty | EVSE | FREE Shipping

    Has anyone tinted the sunroof?

Premium Super Cheap Auto brand. Just aftermarket but they fit well and are more comfortable in Australian summers than uncovered seats. Cost approx AU$60 for front set.

    Has anyone tinted the sunroof?

We done a video on Tinting including mention on the sunroof with advice from professional installer.

How come India has i-Smart EV 2.0 and UK has i-Dumb-EV?

Yes, the vague answers are annoying. Just like the difference in body warranties between UK, 7 years and Australia, 5 years.
