It made sense when there were only Tesla's. Much as we love our MG's, let's not forget who got the party going, and for years it was their party. Legacy ICE manufacturers should've been astute enough to start building EV's when the Tesla Roadster v1 was released last decade.

@jamesie - back in the early days when there were only Tesla's on the road, Tesla destination chargers were a thing because the business owner hosting the charger would make a decision to install it in the hope of swaying Tesla drivers to stop by and buy whatever they're selling. Not being EV...

Maybe so, the the 3 pairs of letters below it "MG", "ZS" and "EV" might prompt a confused reader to do a little bit of research and soon discover the new world of electric vehicles, then one thing leads to another and they go out and buy a Tesla, an MG EV.

To be clear Tesla Superchargers have both (a modified) Type 2 connector and a CCS2 connector. The former will not fit (the earth has a protruding plastic tab that prevents it being connected), the latter will fit but the Supercharger will not energise the MG as the MG will not be able to respond...
