From what I’ve read here. Looks as though I’ll be going with Zappi and writing off my losses with EO. Made an expensive mistake there. Product which becomes obsolete and non repairable after only four years doesn’t give any faith in their product.

Leave on normal. Regen 3 as others have said. Use heated seats which use very little power compared to the HVAC. NB. There is very little to no engine braking/regeneration when the battery is nearly full. That can catch you out but you become used to it.

What gets broken? Is it like a fuse?

Ours maintains a steady speed. If you are approaching another vehicle from behind, the ACC will reduce your speed to match. Always use it on N mode and Kees 3. Sounds as if you have a fault.

That’s why I insisted on a hire car until oarts were in stock. When I mentioned that asking me to drive with a broken spring was almost attempted murder : either a hire car or reject the car under sale of goods act, their choice. Guess which option!

A couple of hours for the repair. Nearly four weeks for delivery if the parts🥴 hence the free hire car for that time.

Same happened to me. 7k miles 6 months old. Replaced under warranty. No quibble and hit car provided while waiting for springs to come into country. Only one spring replaced as it was deemed that the other was new enough not to warrant replacement. How long before recall of all models. Obviously...

Why do you have to fish in your pocket to unlock it? If you have the keys about your person as you approach the car it unlocks when you try the handle. Even gen1 did that.

Haven’t you had the car de-bonged?

Driving in eco mode also reduces air flow and steaming up will occur.

I have just had NSR coil spring replaced on my ZS LR CONNECT. Apparently these spring fractures are a known problem. Had to wait six weeks and fortunately was given a hire car under warranty. Just to advise that if your rear end is wobbly on acceleration in sports mode. Check the rear coil springs.

I intended to drive to Gueret , not far from Limoges in my TROPHY CONNECT LR. However , rear spring is still on back order and may not be available until Aug. Can’t take hire car so back to good ‘ol’ reliable Passat. How much is it costing MG for these parts “back orders”?
