All car manufacturers are on long delivery dates, good job you dont want something like a Merc or Land Rover, looking at 2023 for some models. Can’t get a Ford Fiesta before March - not one unregistered Fiesta anywhere in Uk.

The recent TCOYT award in What Car wasn’t impressed with ICE HS, basically thought it underpowered, small boot.

There is another member on here towing at that weight and he is happy with the car. I have in the end decided to go elsewhere (Toyota) given uncertainty about towing performance on long hills. There is no doubt the MG is impressive and if my local dealers had shifted their arses last month...

So where are these users? I have asked on here and Facebook and so far have had a total of none, zero, zilch responses from owners towing 1500kg. If I could get some objective feedback I would put the HS PHEV back on my shortlist.

Pretty much all saying same, there might be an odd Pimlico blue with red leather about and York MG still had a red with red car last week.

I much prefer that darker blue too.

The black leather comes with the white roof lining, the red/black leather comes with black headlining. I find too few MG sales are remotely knowledgeable about the cars they are selling. I agree the Pimlico blue is insipid although the red similarity with CX5 is a bonus to me and initially was...

There are a number of threads developing relating to modifications. Could the moderator start a new section for this? I am guessing many will relate to non PHEV cars so is there another forum with an HS section that could be linked up with?

According to some dealers Pimlico blue has been dropped for 2022 (to be replaced with a different shade) however I note you haven’t referred to the red? Holborn blue was never available on the PHEV. Which colour interior have you chosen?

I am also very interested in the speaker upgrade/mod! Keep me posted please.

Thanks, having a comparitor is helpful. Hopefully should be better than the quality of my previous Passat and my wife’s Seat Arona (which is not that bad for a basic set up).

Had SWMBO not kept changing her mind we could have had a white one couple of weeks ago - they are now gone. I tried phoning MG too but they may have a different response direct to the dealers.

Joe is the only dealer who has offered to look…… albeit he didn’t hold out much hope.
