Have you actually turned Autohold on in the settings ? If you don't use autohold, on an uphill halt, just use the footbrake, it will then hold the car for a second or two while you move your foot from the brake to the accelerator to proceed. Using neutral is pointless just press the big park...

In ACC it matches the speed of the car in front, it does not follow it as in going round bends, changing lanes etc. In TJA it literally (correct use of the word for a change) follows the car in front

Double pulling the stalk engages MG Pilot, which includes TJA. Without the double pull you are just using ACC.

No problem, you probably just missed the remedy in my post of using an alternative satnav, (possibly utilising AA or Carplay) rather than the poor built in one. Your observations are valuable and yes hopefully they will help other drivers.

It's only the same as ordinary CC, touch the brakes it turns off. On motorways etc. you need to constantly do this and be aware when to do it, at least with ACC you don't have to turn it off by braking and then resuming all the time.

Go to the screens that show the current journey or the accumulated total and look at the bottom of the screen, it shows the instructions on how to reset, namely press and hold OK.

If you've 'accidentally' turned pilot on with 2 swift tugs then turn it off with one firm push back, no need to stop the car and mess about. It's quite a deliberate act required to turn it on. Then pull it firmly towards you again to put into standby and then set the speed to activate ACC. If...
