No it doesn't connect to the battery. Had mine fitted on Monday.

I used a blob of kitchen sealant in each corner. It just peels off and leaves no marks. For door stickers I bought a role of magnetic tape. When I'm not using the car as a taxi the go in the boot.

Thanks for that do you do airport runs? How many large cases can you get in the boot? I've got a vauxhall zafira at the minute but hoping to get the exclusive in the new year.

How are you finding the car. Any regrets? Where do you work?

Thanks for the reply. I probably do 150 miles a day but that would include an airport run. Heathrow is only 79 miles away. I would go home around lunch time and put it on a home charger for an hour. £2 a day is pretty good going. Just need to find out about the taxi meter. Hope your busy.

Great to see your post. I'm a private hire driver in Essex do you have a mirror meter? Does it wire straight to the battery under the bonnet. How do you find the car as a taxi?
