When Northern Powergrid were at my property the engineer informed me the same about £140 plus VAT for upgrade but also told me to wait until April as they were receiving new funding for upgrades so should be free from then on.
Would recommend anybody having to use Osprey at the minute to use Bonnet App, I have put just over 31kwh on my car for £13.99 in 25 minutes. This was on the Osprey charger just off the A1 in Alnwick, Northumberland and was supposed to be £1 kwh.

I would ask your dealer about it, when I spoke to Motability they said the same but when I asked my dealer Richard Hardie if I would get a Type 2 cable as well as Granny they said yes it was included.

Just checked Easee website and the only cable they sell is 7.5 meters so hopefully that is what is included in my installation. I will update when installed, hoping it will be done this week.
Don't think any of the Motability installers do solar integrated chargers. They use OHME, Podpoint, BP Pulse and Easee. They sent OHME to do my install but said I didn't want it because I wanted untethered and they only do tethered, thus they contacted me and I said what I needed and arranged...
