In my Leaf 24 on several occasions I arrived at a rapid and it showed 0% on the charger! It was easy to do that with a short range car. Not so easy with my Soul.

It seems to have a 6% buffer at the top and 3% at the bottom. Which works out at approx 4kWh.

The ZS gross is 44.5kWh, useable around 40.5kWh. The Kona/eNiro/Soul EV has 64kWh useable. So basically more than a Leaf 24 (gross) range extra! I’m getting a range of 280-300 miles at this time of year in my Soul EV. My average over 400 miles in 4 days is 4.6miles/kWh.

I got a much better deal than that! Well Under £27k. eNiro is a great all round car, but bland (like the ZS in my opinion), looks like so many other cars. Whereas the Soul has, well, soul. White with lipstick red as a friend called it, suits it really well. :D

I have just swapped from the ZS EV to a 1 year old Kia Soul First Edition. The range is amazing… 41% used to drive 117 miles.

MG dampers are not serviceable. (Unlike my Bilstein dampers on my ZS)).

I remember when I had a Skoda Yeti that did this a lot of owners complained that their windows kept on opening. They also discovered that they had the key in their pocket.....

That’s nice! The ZS doesn’t do this.
