Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but do home chargers tell you how much you've spent on a charge ?
My home smart meter will tell me how much I've spent on electricity in a day but obviously a load of that will be on other household items. as well as charging the car.
Back on electricity prices. British gas has just reintroduced it's EV driver tariff.
41.8 p per kwh peak
12 p per kwh off peak (midnight-5 am)
39 p per day standing charge.
I used a genie point via bonnet today .the app decided to bill me at £5.70 a kwh instead of 57p
Resulted in a bill for £155 !! Lol
Plus I had an £8 discount voucher which wasn't added.
Fortunately a quick chat on bonnet's website got it sorted .But may be worth alerting other users.
I can only speak from experience. I am completely aware of the issues many people have had. And some of the stories are horrible But I speak as I find.
No I haven't paid anything yet. I will have to pay full price for my charger I guess but the reduced monthly costs by leasing direct from Novuna rather than going through Vanarama pan out ok for me.
The irony is that Novuna are one of Vanarama's funders so the fact that Vanarama have not got...
So I've just cancelled my ZS order with Vanarama they just have no idea when my car is even going to get built and are still estimating delivery of April.
I spoke to them about changing my order with them to an MG4 but at the moment they cant compete on price .So I've placed an order elsewhere...
Nothing has been promised . Everything is just an estimate. And, as I've said before my contacts in the industry say that everyone is in the same (excuse the pun) boat!
I like the polestar but it's nearly twice as much per month as the MG.
I'm just waiting for figures and lead times on the MG4 from Vanarama to see if it's worth swapping out of the ZS
Is that even legal?
I appreciate that dealers may traditionally achieve greater margins from the private buyer , however I think a lot of Private lease customers and indeed business lessees may be a little peed off that their vehicles may be delayed, apparently purely because of their choice...
