Can you Tow With An Electric Vehicle Or Hybrid?

Yeah, it's the biggest gripe I have with the zs, that it can't tow a trailer. 750kg had been enough for me, but 1000kg would be just perfect. And cars that can't have a load on the roof is a definently nogo for me. That said, there are some electric Volvo trucks rumbling arround in the area...

    EV car sales Norway 2020

There have been huge incentives to get us buying electric vehicles here in Norway, with massive tax reductions being the primary source, but have had other perks aswell, like being able to drive in bus lanes, and no or cheaper congestion charge, and toll boots. The infrastructure is so so...

    EV car sales Norway 2020

A new milestone is reached. BEV sales last year was 54,3% of all new cars sold! Witch means that more than every other car sold was an battery electric car! And if you add inn the hybrids the numbers are even better. (But as we're aiming for only zero emission new cars by 2025 we don't count...

Petrol and diesel vehicle ban brought forward to 2030

That it does 😁 If I take all taxes, and other extras that you have to pay, and do a yearly average, I end up at about 10p/kwh. And still probably have rounded up a bit mutch. Though there's a proposed change in the way they set up how you pay for usage that will change that a bit to the worse...

Limited Battery Capacity, Short Range, High Purchase Cost means the EV revolution may face a natural death sooner.. .

Well, it could be used against all things man made then. Just add in Murphys law to the equation ? That said, there are more people being seriously sick, and that dies, because of coal plants alone each year, than to nuclear powerplant failures from the start of them.... And the negative...

Limited Battery Capacity, Short Range, High Purchase Cost means the EV revolution may face a natural death sooner.. .

Like I said, currently it's the best option. And, Japan is a bad example, as the problem there where lacking maintenance, and poor planning of the back up generator placement. The plant itself survived the tsunami...... Chernobyl wouldn't be a good example either, as those plants are obsolete too.

Limited Battery Capacity, Short Range, High Purchase Cost means the EV revolution may face a natural death sooner.. .

I've said this over many years, we need more nuclear power plants, not a reduction as is happening now. Nuclear power is the absolutely most environmentally friendly way to make electricity there is. Coal power plants all know is bad, but there still are being built more of them. Gass and...
