Interesting - thanks for posting. Tesla have gone a little quiet on their big semi-trailer truck development. It will be interesting to see if EV’s start taking off in commercial vehicles too.

They will need to come up with a tow bar that can use an additional HV battery within the caravan or carriage, with its own mini-motor.

I think that would be revolutionary. Could potentially extend the standard range and only use on long journeys

I've read the VW ID4 can tow up to 1000 kg and has a retractable tow hitch.

Yeah, it's the biggest gripe I have with the zs, that it can't tow a trailer. 750kg had been enough for me, but 1000kg would be just perfect.

And cars that can't have a load on the roof is a definently nogo for me.

That said, there are some electric Volvo trucks rumbling arround in the area, used on construction sites.
