I am using octopus Intelligent, but it has taking me many weeks complaining, but eventually connected. I wont be using their OCPP, I’m just using the 6 hours 7p per kwh, controlling when I charge. I have solar panels so often charge for free, something you can’t do using Octopus OCPP.
Sorry yes...
I too have signed up to Octopus Intelligent but my Wallbox & MG4 isn’t playing when I try to set it up as per the instructions. I wrote to them as recommended, still no reply, I don’t understand what the problem is as they say the Wallbox is compatible.
If you join Octopus GO/Faster today it is 12p kWh up to 5 hours-0030-0430, 41.46p outside cheap rate & 52.32p standing charge. Although my setup is cheap rate 2130-0230, not too sure that this is available today.

It will take about 2 1/2 years to pay for the panels and if electric tariffs stay similar, another 2 1/2 years to pay off the battery cost. Before the big electric increase, I was looking at 7 1/2 years.
Cost £11500. Which included fitting.
If you were to consider buying solar panels/battery. I can financially recommend considering. As I own an EV and the rumble of electric tariffs going up early last year, I decided to invest in 11 solar panels & a 10kWh house battery being fitted in April 2022. Doing number crunching this month I...
