Can anyone point me in the right direction to put a type2 cable up for sale. It is brand new as it came with my HS PHEV but I had already purchased type2 when I got MG5. I can then put money towards a longer 12-15 metre 3pin to type 2 charger as I will use this at my workplace to top up my PHEV...
Not those things 😂. Just like what everyone else said free met paint and reduction in price. Though they do claw some of that back in the finance to be fair.
I think you need to look at the silver one first before making a decision as silver is a colour that if the curves and shape aren’t right silver can look awful. On the flip side if the shape and curves are right it can look great. I had red MG5 and it was a nice red and looked pretty good but...
Here is where I found cable if anyone is interested.

Me too! I found a short right angle usb cable which can be plugged in either way to allow for the correct orientation of the right angle(right angle on usb that plugs into car). It works perfectly. The only downside is sometimes you forget your phone.
So were you mis-sold? I would have thought this should have been mentioned. I know the dealer does not get much from selling through this scheme but I’m sure this should have been offered as an option.
Don’t believe the 3.6 MilesperkWh! Never seen anywhere near that in my MG5LR and mine was not that loaded and doing 65 - 70 mph. That is why it had to go.
Well I would want the battery fully tested as 4V is way too low. As I am sure the age of the battery is not that old! I would be wondering if this battery was not weak in the first place.
I would check your sound settings on your phone for your android auto. It may well be that a setting needs to be set to enable audio to pass through to the head unit. As for SatNsv issue I am not sure as I use an iPhone for satnav through CarPlay. But I am sure someone will update this thread...
This is where the WLTP range is farcical! The true range should be given after testing in all conditions including passenger comfort warm/cool/stereo/loaded/family trip/ motorway/winter/summer Only then can you give a true range based on these. Why should we be eking out every mile when the WLTP...
Why is there no timeout on the lights/electrics? As some ICE do have this run for 15mins then goes into ECO mode to save battery. Also it would not take too much to monitor 12V and when it gets to a low voltage it shuts down.
