    Often, card authorisation failure happens because there's a limit to how many times a card can be used contactless before you have to enter your PIN again.

    Subscription is not necessary, it merely reduces the price per kWh to the same that Tesla owners pay. Tesla do have overstay fees, but they only kick in if the site is over 50% full. The app will warn you if this is the case.

    They also seem to have dropped the price per kWh by ~20p too. In December, my local one was charging 45p-65p with membership, it's now 35p-44p!
