Definitely need more competition. Although I am relatively happy with 30p at Gridserve considering how most other networks prices are 40+
Can you charge two cars on a single Gridserve unit yet? All my services I use only have two machines so the chances of one being free is rare.
For me personally I think tethered. The cable is right there when you need it, no messing around.
It's raining, you have one less socket to try and attach to etc.
It's actually exceeded my expectations. It handles the motorway very well.
I've turned off LKA in the menu and only use it when it comes on with MG Pilot. As long as you treat it as an assist rather than a autopilot it's great
Not gonna lie, wasn't perfect.
First stopped at Reading Eastbound services, both chargers being used and nobody around. So decided to keep driving.
Stopped at Mereoak Lane park and ride where there were two empty Charge Your Car points.
Couldn't use contactless so downloaded the app.
The app...
That felt like one of those lines he was told by the company he had to deliver if he wanted to cover the car.
It was odd because Jack has driven the MG5 so he is certainly aware of it.
Is it possible it's the 'first' because it's not rebranded to a UK brand ie MG?
More variety is always welcome and the one thing I do like is they seem to be packing in the tech at a strong price!
What would have made Chorley hypothetically pick Ora over other Chinese manufactures looking to break into the UK?
I have been thinking about (but never be able to afford) the benefit of having a smaller cheaper EV for my wife when she drops the kids off at nursery. Something a bit smaller so she can find space. This sort of looked like it could fit two Isofix in the back without crushing the kids.
But...
The one main reason I wouldn't take the dealers opinion is there is very little incentive for honesty. It's a cliche for a reason. Sure there will be some exceptions, but warts and all stories about your product aren't going to make you salesperson of the month.
Ah well then you get to work out whether 1 free hour + X normal rate is cheaper than X at 5p per hour
Dishwasher and washing machine probably have a single hour option. As to whether that will do the job or not.
Does it matter? You'd have to do all these things anyway, even if they take 2 hours, the first hour would be cheaper than had you done it at any other time
Not sure I would like to have to look down and to the side to check my speed. Perhaps over time.
That said I've always been partial to a dash with loads of bells and whistles
If I were to get a Tesla I'd go for the Y.
The extra space would be necessary.
The one thing (other than price) I can't get past is everything being done on that one screen.
I'm guessing there is a HUD for speed etc?
I wouldn't think about it as a convenience, I would class it more like a spare tyre or puncture repair kit.
You might not need it 99% of the time, but when the worst happens, you'll be glad it was there.
