If I'm not dreaming, I think one of the threads posted something similar to the title above about the cars not fully implementing something (generally known as the Rolec problem).
FYI my MG5 exhibited a similar issue over the weekend (and I don't have a Rolec).
Can you put a link here please?

My maximum load since I've had a charger/BEV has been just short of 13kW - that's during the Go cheap period with the battery pile taking 3kW, the charger 7kW and presumably both dishwashers, the washing machine and the dryer all on the go (pun intended).
I had a guy around from EON last week to read the generation meter so it is happening.
They don't care how much you actually export; I've had solar diversion for almost as many years as my PV system, a battery storage system for over two years and now a BEV car and charger capable of diverting...

The days of smart meters counting export as consumption are long gone and you aren't forced to give up deemed export/move to metered export.
Having a smart meter gives access to tariffs such as Octopus Go and that's a no-brainer IMHO if you have a 7kW home charger.
My wife's Zoe...
Dorset Council have teamed up with an external body and have started replacing and adding new charge points to all their existing charging locations. So all the old go to be replaced with Type 2 22kW and some extra ones too.
The next phase is to roll out chargers to the car parks that...
