The EV opposition is part of the natural process of tech evolution. not to be taken too seriously - except that it is! happily it is part of dragging EV prices down which I personally very much welcome.
Would point out that this is a general issue linked to inflation = my ICE Mazda 3's insurance went up by 50% this year. But the insurance industry will analyse EV accident repair costs and establish premiums accordingly.
