I personally couldn't live with the numerous issues - 12V battery discharge risk for example - even when acknowledging that the car is basically a very good one. Hoping that MG will resolve them but fear they will not.
Interesting. In the past I seem to recall the Austin Maxi made a selling point of it's ability to convert its seats into a double bed. EV's missing a trick as they are potentially a comfortable hotel room on wheels. Useful potential cash savings in a nation heading fast towards bankruptcy
I think you have rather clearly described where you are. Let's face it, there will likely be a downside when you enter into a contract which saves you a shed load of money.
Absolutely. They've currently lost my possible business. I agree that all makers produce lemons. How they deal with these problem cars is mission critical in my opinion. It seems that M.G have decided to take the " **** the customer" path.
Government needs to bang heads together to ensure all the equipment talks to all of the cars and vice versa. Unless made to ensure this, manufacturers will continue to short change the consumer
M.G don't seem to subscribe to the idea that adequate customer service is important. They may be able to get away with this assuming that other manufacturers such as BYG take the same approach.
