Does this imply that there is inconsistency in the quality of the seat foam? I test drove a trophy and sat in an SE - both had very soft seat bases - the seat backs were ok, but the bases just squished to nothing. How anyone could say that the seats are supportive or firm is beyond me -...

I just felt that they compressed to nothing. the side bolsters on the seat base just felt like soft sponge - not giving any support.

The motorised seat is a -ve for me. Its slower than manual adjustment and because there is no memory it becomes a pain to have to adjust every time I get in. Obviously if you are the only driver it doesn't matter, but my wife and I both drive either of our cars all the time.

I think the black is a bit claustrophobic. Maybe keep an eye out on ebay or with breakers - Its very easy to swap seats.

Had a look at a trophy and an SE now. The seat base is a concern. Even on the trophy. The side squabs on the seat back are ok, but the seat base isnt anything like firm enough. I note that the electric seat doesn't seem to give slope adjustment for the base- its up and down only. I'm...

Hi Miles, How is the mg4 for internal space? My wife has a leaf - is it comparable? I found the mg5 quite cramped (I'm 6'4") but from what I'm reading the mg4 sounds like it may be better inside. When are you going to have one for customers to look at? And will there be affinity pricing?
