infotainment firmware

**Infotainment firmware** refers to the embedded software programmed into the hardware of an infotainment system—typically in a vehicle—that controls its core functions and operations.

It manages features such as the user interface, audio and video playback, navigation, connectivity (Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, smartphone integration), voice control, and communication with other vehicle systems.

Unlike regular application software, infotainment firmware operates at a low level, directly interfacing with the device’s hardware and enabling the system to boot, function, and receive updates.
